Essential school times

Year R & KS1

8.30am to 8.40am - Children enter school
3.20pm - End of School Day

KS2

8.30am to 8.40am - Children enter school
3.20pm - End of School Day

Responsibility for pupils is accepted from 8.30am. If children arrive after 8.50am, they are late and will be marked late in the register.

Children should not arrive at school before 8.30am. Please ensure your children do not leave home exceptionally early.

KS2 children will have a total teaching time of 23 hours 45 minutes per week.

Reception/KS1 total teaching time 21 hours 40 minutes minimum per week excluding registration, assembly & breaks.

Half-term holiday: Monday 28th October 2024 - Friday 8th November 2024
Monday 11th November - Friday 20th December 2024
Christmas holiday: Monday 23rd December 2024 - Friday 3rd January 2025

SPRING TERM

Monday 6th January - Friday 14th February 2025
Half-term holiday: Monday 17th - Friday 21st February 2025
Monday 24th February - Friday 4th April 2025
Easter holiday: Monday 7th April - Monday 21st April 2025

SUMMER TERM

Tuesday 22nd April - Friday 23rd May 2025 (Monday 5th May is a Bank Holiday)
Half-term holiday: Monday 26th May - Friday 30th May 2025
Monday 2nd June - Friday 18th July 2025 (Staff Training day Friday 27th June 2025)

Taking Holidays during term time

We understand that it can be difficult to take holidays during the school holidays. However, permission is required from the headteacher to take children out for a holiday in term time. This can only be granted if there are exceptional circumstances.

If you think you have exceptional circumstances and wish to request a holiday during term time for your child, please request a holiday form from the main office.
